Knoxville, TN – August 6, 2009 -What do a dancing star, dating diva, celebrity chef and ultimate bad guy have in common? A fight for the cure! This Saturday all four will be hosting the “Evening with the Stars” event to raise money to benefit the Relay for Life organization.
Amanda Brown is Atlanta’s real life answer to Sex and the City’s Carie Bradshaw. Always a socialite at heart, Amanda mixes and mingles like it’s her job. Meet Amanda Brown Saturday, August 8th along with Gilles Marini from Dancing with the Stars and Sex in The City, Scott Schwartz from Oceans 11, 12 &13 and Celebrity Chef Mark Kearney as we add a “Sex in The City” element to “The Evening with the Stars” charity event to benefit Relay for Life (www.relayforlife.org). The event will take place at The Cider House at The Valarium. General admission tickets are $35, limited VIP tickets are $75 and will include an autographed photo of the star and your name entered in the drawing to win a dance with the star and a VIP gift. There will also be a silent auction all evening, with gifts donated by local Knoxville businesses and companies worldwide.
